Searching for the link between two FELDMAN families. I have traced my direct
ancestors back through my great-grandfather Aron Feldman (b.c1855 in
Ungcsertesz, Hungary, now in Ukraine - d.1922 in Ungvar) his father Shimon
Tzvi (b ?; died 1884 in Ungvar) and his father Aron (? - ?). Now I also had
a relative Jennie Feldman Cooper (b.1895 in Ung County - d.1976 in New
Jersey); daughter of Aron Feldman (b 1861 in Ungcsertesz) and Lea Goldner (b
1867), along with siblings Sera Feldman (b 1888 in New York); Izrael David
Feldman (b 1890 in Ung County) and Csarna Feldman (b 1893 in Ung Co). Their
Aron Feldman father (a different man than my great-grandfather but of the
same era) in turn was the son of Israel Feldman (b ? in Ungcsertesz,
Hungary) and Eszti Markowitz. Thus, this Israel Feldman and my Shimon Tzvi
Feldman could be siblings or the relationship could go back further. I'm
looking forward to discovering sources to determine a relationship. See you
at the upcoming Seattle conference.
