SCHECHTMANs from Otaci,Moldova

Hi all,
using jewishgen's Bessarabian Revision List's data, I compiled an
alternative tree, below, to my SCHECHTMAN ancestors. Most of the names
in the revision list match the data I was hander over, other than one
or two inconsistencies.

I am hoping that other genners can connect to this extendend
Schechtman ancestors branch, allowing me to find new connections, and
luckily helping me determine which data is accurate.

Oldest ancestor: Zindel Schechtman

Son: Mordechai, married to Ester Chaia

Mordechai and Ester Chaia's children:

- David (Dov) Ber (married to Kheika)
- Yitzchak (married to Frida) - one of their sons: Mordechai
- Moshe (married to Tsirla) - one of their sons: Mordechai
- Sarah
- Chana
- Perla
- Reyza
- Liba

David (Dov) Ber and Kheika's children:
- Gitla
- Beila
- Uziel (children: Moshe, David (Dov) Ber, Alexander Zisse, Eti, Noach)

I descend from Moshe (my great grandfather), the son of Uziel. Moshe's
family settled in Sokiryany, of the many jewish small villages near
the Dniester river.
Mordechai (son of Zidenl)'s children birth dates span 1816 to 1838.
