Kremenets Shtetl CO-OP, Birds of a Feather meeting
For those of you who will be attending the IAJGS Conference on Jewish
Genealogy in Washington DC, Sheree Roth will host a Kremenets Shtetl CO-OP
Birds of a Feather meeting scheduled for Sunday 2:30-3:45 in the Dirksen
room.
This will be a good opportunity to meet each other, to share stories,
to talk about the accomplishments of our Co-op so far, including the
records and Yizkor book translations we are doing and our plans for the
future.
For those of you whose ancestors came from towns surrounding the larger
town of Kremenets, it may also be worth noting that many people appearing
on our records have fathers registered in surrounding towns. For a list of

I plan to visit Kremenets in the next few weeks to see the bithplace of my
family members. I think that I found in the records the address of my
grandfather Abraham Nudel,though not sure.
I am from Buenos Aires (Argentina) and contacted Ronald Doctor before about the
yidish translation of the izkor book that was pulished in the 60's by the
Kremenets society.
Is there anything you would recommend me to do or some specific place to visit
in Kremenets, so as to make the trip worthy? I would gladly appreciate your
advise.
