I've posted a document extract on Viewmate at the following address
http://www.jewishgen.org/viewmate/viewmateview.asp?key=VM52183. The
signature is in either Hebrew or Yiddish and it is for this that I
need a translation.

The document is a legal contract between a man known in Australia as
Solomon Solomons, and his lawyers. Solomon signed his name using
either Hebrew or Yiddish characters which do not seem to make much
sense as a name. I would be very grateful for any
translation/interpretation. The year was 1823.
