Hello,

My great-grandmother Malka/Mary Shainman/Scheynmann/Sheinermann (born
approx 1872) came from a fairly prominent family in Brest-Litovsk. One
of her brothers was Ariel Sharon's grandfather, so many people have
documented that specific line in her family. I have found birth, death
and/or immigration/emigration information for *all* of her siblings in
the US, Russia and British Palestine, but I do not have any records
specifically of my great-grandmother prior to her marriage to Louis
Schwarz in Philadelphia in 1893. According to family lore, she arrived
in Baltimore with her Schwartz future in-laws some years earlier, but
I'm beginning to have doubts about that story for various reasons.

I have thoroughly explored all the standard and some non-standard
resources in multiple languages. Now, I'm wondering if anyone who is
familiar with the family has any information specifically on Malka's
birth or, even better, her immigration to the United States.
Unfortunately, her birth year is one of the years that is not included
in the Brest-Litovsk records that are online.

Thank you so much.
