Grandfather LEVY from Limbaugh, Courland --> Louisianna

My grandfather Mayer LEVY (son of Pesach) came to US with a brother about 1887
and ended up in the Franklin, Louisiana area where he was murdered at age 29
in 1898. Another brother came with him to US and a third went to South Africa.
I have no names. If this story of emigration from Latvia is familiar please
respond.
There is also a Lena Levy who may have related who died in Yellow Fever
outbreak in that area in ?1900
