I have found the deceased estate of Eugenie Serge NOSSOF nee PRAVINA in the
1974 Cape Town, South Africa, Masters Office files which are on the Mormon
website.
I would like to know if she was born Jewish. Her husband was Paul NOSSOF. I
haven't found Jewish burials for either of them.
She was born in 1895 in Brest Litovsk (now in Belarus) (incidentally also
where my paternal grandfather was born). She died in 1974 in the Ladies
Christian Home in Cape Town (but this does mean that she was necessarily
Christian). Her only child appears to have been Mrs. Ludmila CLARE who was
living in Poole, Dorset, England at the time of her death.
There is no charge for burial nor cremation fees in the Liquidation &
Distribution account.
