On Thursday, February 16 at 7 PM, author and family historian David
Laskin will give a lecture on the history of the Venetian ghetto, the
oldest in Europe. Laskin will also discuss the current state and
likely future of the small Venetian Jewish community. The talk, which
is free and open to the public, will be held at the Italian Embassy,
