The Jewish Genealogy Society of Greater Washington (JGSGW) will celebrate
its 36th Anniversary with a gala Luncheon on Sunday, November 13, 2016.
Started with only a dozen founding members and swelled to hundreds, we shall
recognize our founders, and particularly honor the enormous contributions to
the development of organized Jewish genealogy made by our own Sallyann Amdur
Sack-Pikus, who chaired the first Jewish genealogy conference in Washington
just a year later and the first international Jewish genealogy conference in
Jerusalem three years after that - and didn't stopped there.

Hear renowned speaker Arthur Kurzweil, author of the ground-breaking "From
Generation to Generation," the informative book which started so many of us
down the intoxicating path to discover our roots.
