USCIS Webinar Marian Smith Presenter: Using INS Subject Correspondence Index in 21st Century May 27, 2016

USCIS's Marian Smith is giving a free USCIS History and Genealogy "Your
Questions" webinar on Friday, May 27, 2016 1:00 pm Eastern Time . Marian
will re-introduce her 1999 finding aid to the Subject Index to
Correspondence and Case Files of the Immigration and Naturalization Service
1903/6 to 1957 . Marian will present a revised guide on T-458 references
to Declarations of Intentions, Petitions for Naturalization and USCIS
Naturalization Certificate Files (C-Files) and ask attendees for feedback on
improvement.

The webinar will not be recorded. Pre-registration is not required, however
it is recommended to test your connection, get a quick overview as USCIS
has changed their webinar host to Adobe Connect

Marian is a wonderful resource and has spoken at a number of previous IAJGS
conferences.

The next Your Question Webinar is Friday July 29 at 1:00 PM and if you have
a research question on immigration and naturalization -submit it by July 1,
2016 to cishistor...@uscis.dhs.gov with the subject line "Your
Questions Webinar." When doing so, remember, if your question relates to a
document you found, attach a copy of the document to the email. Please
remember that the documents may be shared and discussed during the webinar
and USCIS requests no large or extensive files be submitted. You may find
