X-No-archive: yes
I am researching my greatgreat grandmother's arrival to the USA during the
latter years of the 19th century. Her name was Gittle ABRAMOWITZ and came
to America with her four orphaned children. I understand that at some point
along the way from Belarus to New Haven she remarried a LAZAROFF who also
had his own family with several children.
A few months ago I was informed that there is a Jewelry store in North Haven,
Ct (117 Washington Ave) which is owned by a LAZAROFF family. Very
interestingly, and probably the main "clue", my ancestress herself was
professionally Jeweller.
Can I ask some in the Ct. area to contact the owners of the above store in
North Haven and either forward them this post and ask them to contact me to
further my investigation of my ancestress descendants.
TIA
