David PIZA 1817-1890, London, of Sephardic Lineage was appointed Hazan and Mohel in
Montreal-Canada abt 1840-1845. He retuned to London-England where he officiated as
reverend more than 30 years ago. As his parents had died when he was abt. 4 he was
interned in the London Sephardic Orphanage. Pizza married Hannah ISAACS, daughter
of Aaron ISAACS of Manchester-England who probably was Azkenazic. I have been
trying to find the wedding date and place of David and Hannah but no luck till
now. The wedding must have been in or before 1842 as their first child Rachel Piza
was born that year in North America or Montreal. Any information is more than
welcome.
