Guest Speaker: Brooke Schreier Ganz

Brooke Schreier Ganz is the founder of Reclaim The Records,
http://www.reclaimtherecords.org, a new not-for profit activist group
that uses state Freedom of information requests to obtain inaccessible
genealogical and archival records and then freely return them to the
public. Brooke will describe RTR's recent victories - including the
release of NYC marriage and voter registration records. She will teach
you how to file your own Freedom of Information requests for records that
you would like to see returned to the public domain.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Our "Mavens" will be available at 1:30 PM to take your genealogy questions.
