I am researching the SCHWARTZ / SCHWARZ /SHVARTZ / SHVARZ family. Part
of the family is from Stanisalawow, now Ivano-Frankivisk, now in the
Western Ukraine (formerly Poland / Galicia). Part of the family is
from Monasterzyska, also now in the Western Ukraine (formerly Poland /
Galicia). I am aware of many members went to the New York area, some
went Isreal.

I am most interested in locating any offspring of Natan LEKHTMAN. His
testimony is preserved at Yad Vashem regarding the deaths of Berta
SCHVARTZ RUBIN, Freida SCHVARTZ VAENSHTOCK, and their respective
children, Fieda, Leonid, Tatiana ( aka Tynia), and Roza RUBIN; and
Zhana and Helena VAENSHTOCK. Natan is the grandson of Freida SCHVARTZ
VAENSHTOCK.

Berta and Freida SCHVARTZ's father, Mordechai (aka Marcus) SCHVARZ
(spelled without a t), was my ggrandfather's brother.
