British Army in Palestine: Records of Service?

Hello all,

I recently learned that a relative of mine who had immigrated to Palestine
from Germany in 1933 served there in the British Army from 1939 to 1946.

Would records of his service still exist somewhere? And, if so, where
might I find them?
