One member of my KUSINITZ family, Lev Kuzinitz, who was born about 1905
probably in Uskrimie, a village near the Begomel in the Dokshitsy District,
Belarus, lived in Nevel, Russia. In Nevel, Lev worked in or owned a store.

In Nevel, he changed his last name to KUZNETZOV and married. His first wife
and four children were murdered during the Holocaust. They are listed on
Yad Vashem as Dora Kuznetzova and 4 children. Dora's first name may have
been Hanna. Her maiden name is unknown. Her sister lived in Leningrad
during WWII. Her first husband died in World War two, we assume. Her last
name is unknown.

On Yad Vashem there are pages of testimony for another Kuznetzov family in
Nevel, who may not be related. The undated pages were submitted digitally
by Evgeney Fuksov, who was living on Hazite Street in Karmiel, Israel, in
English.

I am trying to learn anything I can about my family in Nevel, including
Dora (Hana)'s last name, the name of her sister, and also to find Evgeney
Fuksov or anyone else that is familiar with Nevel between World Wars One
and Two.

Thank you,
