Accidental death Sokolow Podlaski Poland 1889

I have a death record (Viewmate 58284) which I believe is for my GGF
Uszer NISENBAUM, it says that he was 29 yo and died at 8 PM. Anecdote
has it that he was kicked in the head by a horse. Sokolow was not a
tiny town, the Jewish community at the time was over 5000 people, so
I'm wondering whether there might be newspapers or anything else
somewhere. Is there any way of doing a 'deep dive' to look for
something in writing regarding the event?

Also...Other records show his occupation as "cabman", can anyone add
more detail to that occupation?
