Hello Genners,
My great grandfather's Petition for Naturalization indicates that his children
were born in Zinkow and Henovitz,Russia. I cannot locate them. I have completed
the Jewishgen town search. The children's US documents only indicate that they
were born in Proskuro or Proskrov. I am trying to be more specific in my
research and want to locate the exact towns.
Are these two towns near one another? What could there present day names be? I
know that the family moved to many homes in the US. In advance any assistance
will be greatly appreciated.
Regards and thank You
