Bernie Kuran inquired about adoption paper trail for his DNA cousin to find
out about his birth mother. The adoptee was born in Queens, NY.

New York is one of the states that has not liberalized their adoption laws for
adult adoptees to obtain access to their original birth certificates. With the
law as currently in force it will be not be "easy" to find a paper trail.
