FATEHPUR: RSS chief K C Sudershan on Thursday asked the Centre to stop
releasing water to Bangladesh from Farraka Dam to protest the
atrocities on Hindus in that country.

Addressing the concluding session of a three-day RSS workers training
camp here, Sudershan accused the Bangladesh government and its
machinery of pursuing "anti-Hindu" policies, forcing about 20,000
Hindus to flee to West Bengal and adjoining north eastern states.

Terming Bangladesh, Pakistan and China as "India's enemy number one,"
he asked the Centre to remain alert and cautious on "their anti-India
designs."

Alleging that China had deployed missiles in different parts of Nepal
"posing a threat to our security," the RSS chief asked the Centre to
develop missiles with higher range to counter their designs.

He accused China of gradually "liquidating Tibetans to totally occupy
Tibet and use it as a military base against India."

Reffering to the opposition to the Prevention of Terrorism Ordinance
(POTO), he said the opposition parties was doing so only with an eye
on assembly polls.

Stating that India would have to fight the menace of terrorism all
alone and could not depend on the United States, Sudershan said "the
US had paid no heed to India's concern on terrorism and even ignored
Pakistan's involvement in it. Today the US has paid the price for it."
