TEHRAN, Nov 23 (AFP) - A Tehran appeals court has rescinded a jail sentence
handed to a prominent US-based Iranian dancer who had been found guily of
"promoting depravity among young people", the Hamshahri newspaper reported
Saturday.
, who was arrested at the Tehran airport in
May as he finished his first visit to Iran since the 1979 Islamic revolution,
was allowed to leave the country about one month ago, the paper said.
