Ilocos Norte Rep. Rodolfo Fariñas, allegedly committed suicide by
jumping from the 23rd floor of a condominium building on Annapolis
Street in Greenhills, San Juan, early Friday morning.
Supt. Rodrigo de Gracia, San Juan police chief, said that the body of
Carlson, 38, resident of the 23rd floor of Platinum 2000 condominium,
was found on the third floor of the building around 1:10 a.m.
Carlson portrayed the character of "Tutut" in the long-running comedy
television show Chicks to Chicks with former senator Freddie Webb,
Nova Villa and her close friend Carmi Martin.
De Gracia said the actress apparently committed suicide because of
depression.
However, de Gracia ordered his men to dig deeper into the case to
determine whether there is foul play in the former actress's death.
Senior Police Officer 4 Ricardo Marzo, case investigator, said that
the victim's house help Rochille Flores, 27, told investigators that
Carlson had been acting strangely in the past few days.
She said that Carlson was crying most of the time the day before her
suicide.
Flores, who worked with Carlson for only three weeks, said that before
the incident, she accompanied Carlson to Malacañang around 11 p.m.
She told the police that Carlson was about to present a videotape to
President Arroyo allegedly showing her husband Fariñas beating up
their son, who is a godson of the President. The couple had four
children and two stepdaughters, the police said.
However, security guards of Gate 6 at the Palace refused to let them
in saying the President is still out of the country.
Carlson, according to Flores, insisted. The guard told them to proceed
to Malacañang Park and look for an official but there, she was again
barred.
This, prompted her to return home.
When they entered the penthouse, Carlson asked the maid to sleep
inside her bedroom.
Inside Carlson's room, the actress would sit on the window and Flores
would ask her to get away, so she will not fall from the building.
"Di nga rin ako makatulog kasi kung ano-ano ang sinasabi niya na me
papatay daw sa kanya, at bigla na lang uupo sa bintana," Flores said.
Then Carlson again stood up, got hold of a hammer and nailed the doors
saying it prevent their alleged attackers from getting inside the
room.
She was, however, surprised when Carlson went out of the room while
running repeatedly shouted, "Rochille, bilisan mo, takbo, hinahabol
nila tayo. Tumawag ka ng guwardiya."
Flores, reported to the condominium security guards that Carlson has
run away and had not returned to their unit.

Yeah the one and only. Chicks-To-Chicks was cancelled in '87. In that sitcom
she was the love interest of dirty, pervy, fat and ugly Chito
"Chip-Norman-lookalike" Arceo. Truly, television imitates real life.

she scarred her face too just to prove her love (stupidity) to the
idiot, at least that was revealed when the news piece on her was done.
she also put on loads of weight. it's a pity how a woman can loose her
self-confidence and esteem with the wrong kind of man. and there's
such a lot of wrong men out there.
