Senior Citizens' Lobby Officers, Board of Directors and Members:

 

Attached are two PDF's and Information on the Initiatives.

 

1.      PDF of a Letter to Announce the appointment of Mary Anne Lindeblad as the new Assistant Secretary for the Aging and Disability Services Administration effective November 1, 2010.

 

2.      The  Program at the Senior Lobby  meeting for Monday August 16, 2010 featured an overview of the Initiatives 1053, 1107, 1082, 1100/1105, 1098 and Referendum 52.  After the overview and discussion, the Board of the Washington State Senior Citizens' Lobby  took action on the Ballot Measures listed below:

 

1.      Initiative 1053 - Oppose

2.      Initiative 1107 - Oppose

3.      Initiative 1082 - Oppose

4.      Initiative 1100/1105 - Oppose

5.      Referendum 52 - Support

6.      Initiative 1098 - Support

 

The Office of Financial Management released a report on the fiscal impact of the 2010 ballot measures. Attached is a copy of  Budget & Policy Center summary of the report or you can access by clicking online.   Additional information will be available in your 2010 Fall Voters Pamphlet.
