Any publicity now, for this appeal for funds, is appreciated.

 

The Allegheny County Jail is ready to release the body.

 

The priority is the disposition of his body, whether it is sent to Nepal or cremated here based on ongoing consultation with the family. Sending the body back is estimated at $15,000 and we have only about $9,000 of the collection for his defense. Shiva came from humble means and is survived by ill parents, whom he supported, and a young child. He had been working here just under two years and had not saved any significant amount. Any excess will be sent to the parents.

 

Chicagoland Nepali Pariwar is collecting and managing the funds from the CNP account.
