N00b here....

I *think* everything is set up properly. I did a successful echo test
*43. But each time I try to make a real call, I get a recorded message
- cannot complete the call as dialed - and then sipdroid hangs up.

Any help?

TX!

If you have setup sipdroid with google voice, double check your google voice trunk and make sure that your google voice user name and password are correct.

Pbxes.com is having some issues today.  Post an entry in their Bugs forum.

SipDroid sets up an account at pbxes.org for you, and configures the pbx settings automatically.

Before getting into that, try calling *43, which is the echo test.  Does that work OK?

In any case, you may want to get to know pbxes.com a little bit, and you can create an entry in the forum, under "Bugs" if you need help.

About pbxes.com:
your sipdroid client app is assigned an extension (username-...@pbxes.org) which is separate from your google account.

Can you log into pbxes.com?  In there, you can see your extensions (just one probably, for your sipdroid app), and your trunks.  In the left column, click on trunks, and after the screen refreshes, your GTALK trunk will be listed on the left under the trunks link (a little counter-intuitive at first).  Click on it, and the settings info will appear on the right.  You can update your gv account info there, and click save (at the bottom of the form).  After that, you probably have to click on the red bar that appears above the form area, to reload your pbx settings.

Yes, the *43 echo test works

This interests me because I am unable to configure sipdroid to do what
I want and using GV was one of those things.

Are you saying that when one installs Sipdroid that it runs an
automated configuration that creates a pbxes account? It did not do so
for me.

I would like to establish a GTALK trunk but I have not managed to find
the information to configure it. Can you help with that?
