CMS UI should be completely localizeable now, please update your language :)

Hello everybody,

We've worked hard in the last days to identify bits of the CMS interface

which weren't localizeable yet, and have identified about 30 strings.

Together with some earlier fixes in the last two weeks,

this should allow you to have the entire interface speak your language.

Let us know if anything is missing.

We'd be happy to see the green bars go up on getlocalization.com.

Oh, and also: We're hoping to do a 3.0.2 release next week,

so if you get your translations in this week they will benefit

a larger audience in the short term :)

Hi,

I'm active translator for CZ and SK languages.
I did checks all trans. items (cms, framework), but I don't see how Vote
translation works. When I click x-times e.g. for my translation, rank is
the same, it don't grow up. I did corrections for some phrases where
Source (column) is silverstripe, rank is still 1st.
My translations has rank 2nd. Why? E.g.:

I'm not quite sure how the voting feature works, its only vaguely described:

I've voted on your translation (as "silverstripe"), now its on the first place.

My guess is that it somehow prefers translations from the owner of the repo.

Maybe ask the guys on Twitter (@getlocalization), they're quite helpful there :)

I have the most up-to-date version of SS3 (downloaded it last week i think?) and still all those issues mentioned in initial post (including PErmissions, Page (Generic .._) are in english.
When logging in to getlocalization, all strings for Polish are displayed as translated.
Deploying to a client next week - what do i need to do to have all CMS UI in polish ?

Sorry for the late response! Can you please download our new 3.0.2 release from yesterday

and see if you still have the same problems? In general, please test with

our "daily builds" (or a git checkout) to ensure you're looking at the latest codebase:

Hey Ingo,
i just did an update. I see improvements, but took the time to do a couple of screenshots and highlight missing translations - as i guess its the easiest. I cant seem to find them through the getlocalization tool.

Also, if i click on "add page", then the page title (in the firefox its name of site) displays with incorrect encoding - is it set to utf-8  - i mean the browser window ?

Attached are a couple of images to indicate missing translations.

Hello Wojciech,

- The drag'n'drop and "go" labels show translated for me,

maybe try with a ?flush=all at the end of the URL?

- The "choose files to upload…" is not translated in getlocalization yet.

- The "Folder Name" label needs to be translated through JS files directly,

which isn't possible through getlocalization yet - see http://doc.silverstripe.org/framework/en/trunk/misc/translation-process#i-ve-found-a-piece-of-untranslatable-text

- flushing helped to see drag&drop or go labels in polish !
- searching for string "choose files" in getlocalization didnt give any results
