SilverStripe 4.0.0 Alpha 7 Released

SilverStripe 4.0.0 alpha7 has been released!

In addition to many critical bug fixes and UI polish, this release includes some exciting new features including a brand new, React-based TreeDropdownField, and new Date/Datetime fields that have been rebuilt with HTML5 datetime support.

There breaking changes in this release since the Alpha 6 release. To upgrade, please ensure you consult the 4.0.0 upgrading guide and change notes: https://docs.silverstripe.org/en/4/changelogs/4.0.0

To get setup, you can install this using composer (as below):

    composer create-project silverstripe/installer ./ss40 4.0.0-alpha7

You can also download pre-built zip / tar from https://www.silverstripe.org/download/.
