Anyone tried to get users to install code snippets?

InnovaReviews enables website owners to easily collect and publish customer reviews on their own website - great for SEO.

To add our review window customers need to install a small code snippet in their website code.

Anyone have any insight / opinion on whether this is too dificult for a typical website owner?

Some numbers: currently 350 customers signed up (mainly from the US), approx. 25% install the code snippet.

From my experience the average website owner has no clue about technology. Providing a snippet is good, providing a WordPress extension that installs the snippet is going to raise that percentage, and isn't too hard for any Wordpress dev you know to create.

If you're lucky more people will start using Google Tag Manager, and they will be able to easily add the snippet through that interface.
