关于SSD硬盘的分区

大家好，今天到手了一块佰维 Biwin 128G NGFF SSD固态硬盘。想请教一下有没有必要
单独把 /var 与 /home 这样的分区放到机械硬盘上？主要是考虑使用寿命的问题。

我的 SSD 只有小小的 22G, 切兩塊, 一塊安裝系統, 一塊放 zfs 的 L2ARC (加速讀) 及 log (加速寫), 優化放在 HDD 上資料的存取.

Intel 520 240G路过，俺是给/ 36G左右，然后剩下给/home，当然还有一个256M左右的EFI分区
挂ext4的时候建议加上noatime,nodiratime参数来减少访问文件时对文件系统的写入，当然有可能会影响mutt这样的程序，如果不用这种东西的话就放心加上好了
然后定期用fstrim程序手动TRIM一下SSD就行了

忘了說, 在 SSD 上的 root file system 是 ext4, 因為 zfsonlinux 還沒加上 trim 的功能.

分区的时候选择对齐到柱面（cylinder）就可以了。

现在我还是把/home放到了SSD上，然后把一些读写频繁但对速度不敏感的目录
做成了到机械硬盘上的符号链接。比如：offlineimap的邮件同步目录等。

但我记得符号连接好像是不能跨分区的，难道是我记错了？

硬链接不能跨文件系统

syslog 可以到远程的。
每天都关机的情况下。

如果调试日志写爆内存的话，那也查不出什么来，又何必呢？
要是自己写的代码，那我只能呵呵了。

没看明白这其中的关联。

为什么会「查不出什么来」呢？知道要找的地方的特征的话，就算上 G 的日志也
很容易处理的。调试的时候有时会出现这种事情：当你能够判断某个地方出问题的
时候，实际上很早很早之前就已经有问题了，要先找到能够判断已经出问题的地方，
然后往回查阅相关日志来诊断。当然自己的程序可以叫它别发 syslog。不过像
dnsmasq、PostgreSQL 之类的服务的调试日志挺巨大的。
