Mapping single app to custom domain on shinyapps.io?

Hi Everyone

Let's say I have a Shiny app: jhubiostatistics.shinyapps.io/myapp and I also am the owner of the domain myapp.io. Is it possible to set it up so that myapp.io maps to  jhubiostatistics.shinyapps.io/myapp. From these instructions: https://shiny.rstudio.com/articles/custom-domains.html it isn't clear you can map a custom domain to a single app. Or maybe I'm reading it wrong? I have tried: 

1. Setting up on Namecheap a CNAME for myapp.io with the url jhubiostatistics.shinyapps.io/

2. Adding myapp.io to domains on my dashboard

3. Adding the url myapp.io to my app

But when I navigate to myapp.io it can't find anything. 

Any help would be appreciated! Also happy to provide more info if I've missed something.
