Save/load input on different tabs

to Shiny - Web Framework for R

Hi!
Thanks to dataali, I now know how to save and load input values (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/32922190/saving-state-of-shiny-app-to-be-restored-later).
However, what I still cannot do is to load values when the widgets are on different tabs.
Does anyone know why and how I can manage this?

If you wait, like, a week we'll have a solution built into Shiny for saving and restoring app state based on URL. Would that help?
