How to upgrade shiny to font-awesome 4.7 on a mac?

to Shiny - Web Framework for R

Some icons are not working, for example

<i class='fa fa-bath' aria-hidden='true'></i>

and it seems they are the new ones in font-awesome 4.7. Is there a way to manually upgrade for these on a mac?

Hi Vladislav,

I haven’t tried, it, but you could download the new Font Awesome package and switch it with the files found in the folder /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/3.3/Resources/library/shiny/www/shared/font-awesome … Definitely make a backup just in case.

(Assuming you are using the latest versions of everything.)
