I've installed R, R studio, shiny and shiny server, rmarkdown, on an Amazon EC2 instance, and sorted out the firewall.

I can load the page from my desktop browser, and the index.html file loads ok, the slider on the hello shiny app loads, but after about a second the app goes grey, and there is no sign of the histogram. The slider remains responsive.

The rmarkdown example just goes grey and spins.

I'm thinking it looks partly like a permissions problem? Any suggestions appreciated - it's my first outing with R and Shiny, so any guidance on where to be looking for errors appreciated as well,

Thanks,

Jeff.

What OS are you using? And any chance you can privately email me the URL of the server so I can check it out?
