Seeking a reference about the latency caused by calculations inside renderPlot

Hi,

I remember in last January's workshop, Joe Cheng highlighted that, in some cases, having a a reactive expression inside renderPlot makes things slower, and listed some some of the cases where latency could be avoided.
I want to refer someone, who is new to Shiny, to this piece of info, but I am not sure where it was documented.
