Science talk on A mesoscale connectome of the mouse brain
Neuroscientist Tricia MacKenzie will explain how to create a wiring diagram of all of the neural connections in an entire brain.
Opening for Angelina Dreem encodes a Mouse Brain Wiring Diagram
Angelina was an experimental test subject for 2 weeks. During the experiment she encoded images sourced from A Mesoscale Connectome of the Mouse Brain into her visual cortex, generating an overrepresentation of these images in her brain that may influence the art created for this installation.
