Can not run ShareDB counter example

Hello. I have installed the required packages using npm and was trying the counter example from wiki but I get an "

Agent closed due to error 00060aa9c61e061de1e70fe1ffbf5459 { code: 4000, message: 'Received non-string message' }" on the server side.  Am using websocket-json-stream.

I have attached the following files : 

1. code-ws.js - server file 

2. client.js - client side file which is browserified to bundle.js

3. index.html - is the html file for user.

Can some please help debug me the issue. I am manually do the browserify process.

What version of sharedb are you using? It should be 1.0.0-beta.3. The error you see is an old one that isn't present in sha...@1.0.0-beta.3.

Yes it was sha...@0.11.37.

I am guessing the new beta release wouldn't not be available through npm ?
