ot: the proposal to break up the sfmta

i would highly encourage people to sign the petition on the sf bike collation website  to prevent the break up of the sfmta.

i realize many people on this list have probably not been in the bay area long enough to remember the infamous muni meltdown.  this is when muni metro just stopped working.  where it would take 2 hours on train to get across city.

a large part of this was do to political interference by the board of supervisors.

please lets not repeat past mistakes.
