Heading up to Sea Ranch next weekend and looking for ride recommendations. Prefer roads but also okay with trails if they're not to steep (prefer <=10% max).

1T is your knowledge base for this one.  Not sure if he still reads the list, so ping him off list if no response...

Are roads > 10% ok??? :)

Annapolis Road comes right out of Sea Ranch and intersects with Skaggs Springs -Stewart's Point Road, which you can then take back to the coast and then ride CA-1 back to Sea Ranch. But that involves some *very* steep stuff.  The climbs on Annapolis aren't that bad but once you descend to the river on Stewart's point the climb up to the Indian Rancheria is *BRUTAL*.

You can extend that one by going to Hauser Bridge - oh yeah that's another 15% climb, eventually you can get to the coast and ride north from there.

There's another road you can take, ride CA-1 up to Pt Arena  and come back on TenMile/Old Stage. I've not ridden TenMile but it's supposed to be great but  also difficult.

The scenery is gorgeous however. Just be super careful if it's wet.  Not a lot of cell service out there and you won't see a lot of cars coming by to help out.

What Murph said though if you do the Annapolis loop CCW it’s not as steep a climb up to the reservation.

Another loop is Old Stage out of Gualala. Take it north as far as you want. Make it to pt arena and grab a coffee or drop down Fish Rock or Iverson and head back soyth on the coast.

If you’re looking for a nice dirt road, head south into Salt Pt and climb Kruse Ranch Rd. Take a left at Sea View and climb up Hauser Bridge to Tin Barn. Left there and your back into the reservation from the south.

Stump Beach trail just past Kruse ranch is a great road bikeable (when dry) climb up most of Kruse. Not sure if it’s less than 10%, but it’s amaze.

Last, if you can swing a pick up when heading home ride one of the last two option up to Sea View, but turn right and take the ridge all the way to the top of Meyers Grade. Drop to the ocean and into Jenner for a stop at Cafe Aquatica.

I’m happy to send Strava of all these routes when I’m back at a computer. Let me know if you are looking for longer. You could do King Ridge loop too
