OT: Levi's Gran Fondo Roll Call

Anyone else coming? I'm signed up for the gran route, which I've never done before. I've done Medio twice and I think this is a great event and I grudgingly admit that it's worth the steep price of entry.

Will I see others out there?

I'm doing it. Did the Gran last year as well and completely agree - it's a great ride and well worth the cost.

Two noob questions:

1. Suggestions for lining up at the start? How different are the fast / intermediate / slow sections?

2. Does everyone change into a Levi's 2016 jersey at the start or should I be rocking my SF2G classique wear?

1. If you are a typical s2 SF2Ger, then I'd get there early and get as far up as possible. Fun drafting at 24 mph with minimal effort for the first 10 miles or so!

2. Yes to SF2G kit! But up to you. You'll need to figure out how to store/transport your t-shirt as well.

Not doing it this year but I'm usually late and go in the middle of the pack. Let's just say there are a lot of people who think they are faster than they are ha. I'd go towards the front in you are riding style 2 sf2g's. Have fun it's a great ride!

Hi all,

A friend of mine injured his back in the Santa Cruz 70.3, and has decided not to ride Levi's this weekend. If anyone would like to take his entry, let me know. I'm sure he'll part with it for less then whatever retail and CL value is at this point.
