Is nail clipping worse than nose picking?   How about butt scratching?   Or spitting, maybe?  Just trying to get calibrated here, since I never got the nail clipping thing, but I respect people's views on it.

+1 to nail clipping in public being totally disgusting! I am always shocked to see it. As an aside, back in the day a million years and lives ago when I was an intern in the Senate, I remember seeing Strom Thurmond clipping his nails in a hearing.
