A bit more mellow than my last calls:

17-18mph avg pace; steady acceleration to probably 21-22mph on the flats; "cooperative business pace"

No +1s by 11pm and Molly, Curtis and I will roll anyway.

Nice - there shall be a paceline!

Was starting to wonder whether no one wants to ride w me after 3 solo BEXs and 1 duo on Tue ...

New ride call tactic: call moderate pace, then style creep ;-)

Just kidding -  look forward to riding w you all tomorrow.

Eh. I for one prefer when rides stick to the called style +- epsilon, because some days I feel like hammering and some days I don't.

@Alex: We are on the same page! My "just kidding" was meant literally!

We totally stuck to the called pace of 17-18mph.

Most riders show between 17.4 and 17.8 on Strava (mine was 16.9 because I did Twin Peaks before). We also pretty consistently did 21-22 on the flats, almost never exceeding 23 and made sure no one gets dropped etc.

Sorry for the confusion and @Maddie: Sorry in case my comment was the reason you bailed.

When I want to ride faster, I call it (see e.g. my Tue call this week; called 18-19 and did 18.8)..

See you on the road,
Christian

Not only was I not climbing Mount Hamilton (see https://groups.google.com/d/msg/sf2g/fgc8XoKCQvU/rnfSt0aPKwAJ), I was just going to SSF!

(I really have to admire Dave's ability to ride a Brompton long distances at pretty high speeds....)

Yeah, no kidding! I rode mine to Mountain View twice in the past week and it was..... unpleasant. I couldn't imagine riding Mt Hamilton on that thing.
