I'll intercept at alemany&lyell or roll from there at 6:42am if there are no +1's.  Lately I've been getting to SLAC (on sand hill rd) around 9am, so eta to google is probably around 9:30-9:45.

SCT is closed but I've heard there are other alternates to the second 280 segment... anyone willing to show the way?   Also, anyone know if SAT is back open yet?

(not a +1, skyline today destroyed my legs and I'll do something easier tomorrow) The alternate way is the trousdale rollers, where instead of turning right at the stop sign to go under the freeway towards either the onramp or sct you keep going. The road will turn left, then you will turn right, eventually after a few rollers you will see a steep hill to the right; climbing it will take you to skyline.

This is roughly it on RWGPS: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/14635468

Not a +1

SAT is open, but there's a mildly hazardous, unavoidable gravel pit just south of the parking area. I navigated it fine with my skinny tires, but I slowed down for it. Hitting it fast might be bad.

You definitely want to go all the way to Rivera. Trousdale also looks steep, but don't take it to Skyline. Patrick and I nearly got hit by a car last year on Trousdale that was going to the 280 onramp and didn't care about being >1ft away, let alone 3ft.

+1. I don't have any route advice for you though.
