make sure it's not a bombardier. I seem to remember either the 11am or noon train being one of those, and when caltrain is fubar there's no guarantee on what type of train you'll get.also at least a few months ago the noon trains weren't dead empty in the bike car either (though I did not take them frequently), but I don't know how to qualify that with data.some conductors are nice about people putting strollers in the bike car, but I've only seen that niceness on weekends (people don't seem to try on weekdays).
