new to selenium webdriver

Trying to click on button, i get an error after entering un n password. Cannot locate element. Tried with xpath,no "id"available.

Xpaths can be tricky at times, need to be sure you use exactly what the xpath is in the right format. If that still doesn't work, might try finding by css selector if that's available, by class name, selenium has a number of ways to find things.
