Handling HTTPS authentication NOT HTTP

Hi All,

I would like to handle the HTTPS authentication in firefox and chrome browsers. I have used the credentials in the url and tried but not worked for me. I tried to use Robot framework and autoIT, but not able to handle them. Can anyone suggest me how to handle HTTPS authentication.

I am getting window pop up to enter credentials.But not able to handle them.
