Selenium WebDriver - launches firefox with multiple tab with IE tab options

I am trying to launch a default browser
WebDriver driver = new FirefoxDriver();
On executing this, firefox browser launched with two tabs.
One tab as empty and another tab with url IE tab url.
I created new firefox profile, it is executing fine.
But i am issue only with default browser. How to solve the issue.
