Does it cost anything to call setFileDetector()?

Does calling setFileDetector() cost anything if your test suite does not do any file uploading?  (e.g. Will it slow down some other non-fileupload-related workflow)

I'd like to put this call into a @BeforeClass-type method run before every test or test suite such that an individual test would not need to call it explicitly.

Config: Java 1.8, Selenium 2.53, Jenkins, Sauce Labs, Junit
