Hi folks,

This is your official announcement that we have now shipped Selenium 3.0! Go! Download! Test and have fun!

The main thing that's changed is that the WebDriver APIs are now the only officially supported APIs. If you're still using RC, then there's a new implementation of that backed by WebDriver.
