Enquiry of backup and restore securityonion NIDS real-time data and configuration

We would like to know how to backup the securityonion NIDS real-time data and configuration from one server and restore the copies to another server. Please advise.

As you have mentioned in another thread, in effort to close out this thread for others who may be looking for the same information, I can confirm that using the following may help in achieving your goal:

/usr/sbin/nsm_server_backup-config
/usr/sbin/nsm_sensor_backup-config
/usr/sbin/nsm_server_backup-data
/usr/sbin/nsm_sensor_backup-data

Hi,

I have tested all the backup script and all are nearly OK except the script of backup data of sensor with a missing "/" under the line that shows "nsm/sensor_data/".
