Space not freed up after deletion?

Hi,

we have a seafile cloud running with 40 GB Space available.

A user uploaded 37 GB data and deleted the files after 2 days.

On the File System, this 37 GB remains used. How can we make sure, that deleted data will be deleted?

First of all you can garbage collect unused blocks: https://github.com/haiwen/seafile/wiki/Garbage-Collecting-Unused-Blocks-on-Seafile-Server
I don't know about history of the library... maybe there is a retention period for even deleted files.

i set history to 10 days, how can i force to free the space now ?
